Matt Tape joins CineSys as VP of Asset Management and Solutions
Texas, Jan 6, 2022 – CineSys Inc. is excited to announce that Matt Tape has joined the team. Tape has years of experience in the sports and broadcasting industry, most recently as the Senior Director of Broadcast and Video Production at the Houston Rockets. He will be joining the growing Media Asset Management team at CineSys as the VP of Asset Management and Solutions.
Background
Tape started out working part-time on set at ESPN before moving onto a full-time position for a bodybuilding company, and later on a tennis company doing video production and photography. In 2010, he was hired to join the Houston Rockets where he oversaw In-Arena, Radio, and Broadcast TV production. This position was a large part of the marketing department and operated side by side with game operations. It included overseeing all aspects of production, such as shooting, editing, motion graphics, integration and engineering, IT, and live broadcasting.
Future
”Now transitioning after more than 11 years at the Houston Rockets, I hope to bring a wealth of knowledge and opportunities to CineSys. With my background in the sports industry and being hands-on as a content creator, and technical end-user, I hope to be of great use to our current and future customers.
